On June 9, 2025, yet another incident of caste-based exclusion surfaced in Tamil Nadu,  Tiruvarur district where Scheduled Caste (SC) residents of a local village were barred from participating in a temple festival. The incident has ignited protests by Dalit villagers, who are demanding equal rights and an end to caste discrimination in religious practices.

In a country where history is often told through the voices of emperors and upper-caste reformers, the story of Birsa Munda stands as a flame of resistance—fierce, indigenous, and uncompromising. Born in 1875 in Ulihatu village (present-day Jharkhand), Birsa was not merely a freedom fighter; he was the soul of a people rising against colonial plunder and caste-Hindu domination. Birsa was born into the Munda Adivasi community—one of India’s oldest and most deeply rooted Indigenous peoples.

यूपी के अमरोहा में दलित और यादव उस वक्त आमने सामने आ गए जब जाटव समाज की बारात निकल रही थी. जानकारी के मुताबिक 2 जून को यूपी के अमरोहा का गजरौला थाना क्षेत्र में रहदरा गांव में रामपाल जाटव की दो बेटियों की शादी एक साथ होनी थी. एक बारात हसनपुर से आ रही थी और दूसरी बारात मुरादाबाद से. यह पूरी घटना दूसरी बारात के आने के दौरान हुई. जानकारी के मुताबिक दलित की बारात पर यादवों द्वारा लाठी डंडो से हमला किया गया. पत्थर भी फेंके गए. इस पूरी घटना में तीन लोगों को चोटें आई हैं.

A Crime Beyond Violence: Rape, Mutilation, and Institutional Failure On May 26, 2025, in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a minor Dalit girl was lured with a chocolate near her aunt’s house and taken to a field where she was brutally raped and attacked with a sharp weapon. Her throat was slit, her chest bore slash wounds, and her vocal cords were irreparably damaged—rendering her voiceless in the most literal sense of the word.

On the surface, the Odisha government’s latest proposal sounds benign—progressive, even. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari has announced that the state plans to directly purchase land from Dalits and Adivasis in Scheduled Areas, claiming this move will “protect” their land from being grabbed by powerful outsiders. But scratch the surface of this well-packaged policy, and a far more dangerous agenda emerges—one that risks formalizing the very dispossession it pretends to guard against.

Milind Kamble a civil Engineer from Pune laid the foundation for a historic movement  on 14th April 2005 that would reshape the socio-economic landscape of India’s Dalit community. The Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) was not just an organization—it was a vision. A bold declaration that Dalits need not merely seek jobs in an economy rigged against them, but could build businesses, generate employment, and create capital.

अब वो दौर गया जब महिलाएं चार दीवारी के भीतर अपना पूरा जीवन काट दिया करती थी. पहले पिता, फिर पति और फिर बेटे पर आश्रित हुआ करती थी. मनुस्मृति जैसी किताब के नियम तले जिन्हें दबाया जाता था. ना पढ़ने का अधिकार था और ना ही समाज में मर्दों के कंधों से कंधा मिलाकर चलने का. लेकिन अब वक्त बदल गया है. राजस्थान की चंचल जाटव, दीपक जाटव और रिद्धिमा घारू जैसी बच्चियां समाज की उस मानसिकता पर चोट कर रही है जो कहती है कि महिलाएं सिर्फ चूल्हा चौका करती हुई अच्छी लगती हैं.

On 28 May 2025, the Indian judiciary was jolted by a development of historic proportions: the initiation of impeachment proceedings against a sitting High Court judge after piles of unexplained cash—stacked 1.5 feet high—were found at his residence. The motion against Justice Varma, formerly of the Delhi High Court and now posted at the Allahabad High Court, follows damning findings by a Supreme Court in-house committee investigating a suspicious fire at his home in March.

एक कहावत है जैसे को तैसा और इस कहावत को सही मायने में अगर समझना है तो यूपी के एटा में हाल ही मै जो एक घटना हुई है उससे आप समझ सकते हैं. दरअसल 25 मई को UP के एटा के जलेसर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के गांव जैनपुरा में दलितों ने सवर्णों की कलश यात्रा रोक दी. जानकारी के मुताबिक करीब दो घंटे पुलिस ने समझाइश की जिसके बाद भागवत कथा के लिए सवर्णों द्वारा की जा रही कलश यात्रा पूरी हो सकी. इस बीच सवर्णों ने बड़े गंभीर आरोप दलितों पर लगा दिए कि उन्होंने लाठियों और पत्थरों के बल पर कलश यात्रा रोकी.
