Bull will build LUMI-AI, a €387.8 million EuroHPC supercomputer in Finland set to tenfold Europe's AI capacity by 2027, using AMD chips, liquid cooling and waste heat recovery. Bull has been selected by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and the LUMI AI Factory consortium to deliver LUMI-AI, a €387.8 million AI supercomputer intended to expand Europe's AI computing capacity.

ProLabs has launched two QSFP-DD coherent optical transceivers capable of extending 400G and 800G network transmission across up to 30 repeater hops, roughly 2,400km, without new infrastructure. Two QSFP-DD transceivers from ProLabs, the QSFP-DD 800G ZR LH and QSFP-DD 400G ZR ULH, are designed to extend coherent optical transmission for up to 30 repeater hops, equating to approximately 2,400km, according to the company.
