Mexico received another tariff reprieve Thursday – the second in as many months after President Claudia Sheinbaum spoke with her US counterpart earlier in the day. In announcing the agreement at her daily press conference – delayed by nearly four hours for a phone call with US President Donald Trump – Sheinbaum mentioned the productive relationship between Trump and her predecessor, former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
