Residents across Delmarva will have several opportunities to receive a free flu vaccine this fall through TidalHealth's annual drive-thru vaccination clinics. The health system will offer a series of clinics in Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties, according to a community announcement. The events allow participants to remain in their vehicles while receiving a seasonal influenza vaccination. TidalHealth said in the announcement that it has hosted drive-thru flu clinics each fall since 1994.

Sept. 9, 2026, 5:05 a.m. ET The Maryland Department of the Environment will hold a hybrid public hearing Sept. 9 regarding a renewal permit to allow Perdue Agribusiness to discharge an average of 175,000 gallons per day of treated wastewater from the Salisbury facility.
