According to the companies, the system is designed to support the growing demand for targeted lung health checks while enabling more flexible deployment of mobile imaging services in community and remote locations.

Health technology company Neko Health has announced new capabilities for its Neko Health Scan, including body composition analysis and integration with wearable devices. According to the company, the updates are designed to provide clinicians with additional health data during the one-hour scan and expand the information available for follow-up visits.

Sectra has announced the implementation of its fully managed cloud enterprise imaging solution, Sectra One Cloud, across four healthcare providers in Ontario, Canada: Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Norfolk General Hospital, and West Haldimand General Hospital. According to the company, the city-wide implementation will consolidate radiology and breast imaging across 16 sites into a single cloud environment.

A multinational study has demonstrated the potential of an artificial intelligence (AI) tool to automate key stages of radiotherapy planning for cervical and prostate cancer, according to results presented at the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO 2026) congress in Stockholm. The study, known as ARCHERY, was led by researchers from University College London (UCL) and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Source: Bayer Bayer has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for Ambelvist™ (gadoquatrane), a macrocyclic gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA) indicated for contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). According to Bayer, the agent is approved for detecting and visualizing lesions with abnormal vascularity in both central nervous system (CNS) and non-CNS body regions in adult and pediatric patients, including term neonates.

Athens-Limestone Hospital has introduced MRI services for patients with pacemakers and implantable defibrillators, expanding access to specialized diagnostic imaging in Limestone County and across North Alabama. The hospital joins Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital in offering MRI imaging for patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), extending the capability beyond Madison County for the first time within Huntsville Hospital Health System (HH Health).

The systems incorporate the company’s Optiq AI imaging chain, which uses artificial intelligence to optimize image data in real time during image-guided procedures.

Acist Medical Systems, a Bracco company based in Minnesota, has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its Acist Pro Diagnostic System, a contrast management platform developed for use in cardiac catheterization laboratories. Following FDA clearance, the company announced the commercial launch of the system in the United States. According to Acist, the platform has already been introduced in Europe and Japan.
