I went to the county fair! I was there for a concert, but I never miss an opportunity for fair food. A friend and I went to see Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms, and Blues Traveler. I've seen Gin Blossoms before, and they're good, but I was super excited to see Spin Doctors, and they did not disappoint!! Super fun night, plus I have leftover donuts so it was perfect all around. ๐ You have enough. You do enough. You ARE enough. XOXO
Brewer 9.17.26
After some very intense discussions with a friend who's a pro cold brewer (we did math equations!), I took the plunge and made my first batch. It looks right so far, and I'm really excited to try it tomorrow! Your past didn't define you, and you are the creator of your own future. XOXO
Hump 9.16.26
This is my typical Wednesday - it's pretty non-stop. Today was extra tough because I ended up working late so I had only a few minutes to get it together for tarot class. I LOVE my cult meeting (I'm not in a cult, I swear), but it was actually canceled tonight, and I must say, I was grateful. Normally I can throw something together for my dinner before class starts, and then just grab it and eat during Cults, but today, I didn't even have the time for that.
Pickled 9.15.26
Did everyone already know now easy it is to pickle onions? Its new to me, and they are soooo yummy. I got this recipe from my bestie and I'm obsessed. I eat a lot of grain bowls - mainly Mediterranean and Mexican, and these onions are perfect with both! Give them a whirl, you won't be sorry. Plus, the liquid turns this really rad fuschia color that's super fun! You are getting better and better every single day. XOXO Share this comic and all of your recipes will be perfect. Share

Luckily, we caught the thyroid issue early. The vet said he would still do surgery tomorrow, but since it's not a rush, we agreed to wait and try to treat this first. So we're waiting for the gel to arrive, and we'll recheck his thyroid levels in a month or so, and hopefully reschedule surgery once he's back in line. He will need this gel twice a day for the rest of his life, though. But gel on the ear is easy - we can do that! He loves to have his ears rubbed, so I'm not worried at all.
Crate 9.13.26
I'm gonna need to keep Harry segregated from the other cats while he recovers, so he's going to live in a dog crate for a day or 2. Hopefully that'll be all, anyway. I have to make sure his wound stays safe and the younger cats may be tempted to try to play with him. Plus, I'll be able to keep a close eye on how he's eating and such. It's going to be an adventure, but I've got a cozy cone (we decided on the space kitty one), and a nice little setup for him.
Tangle 9.12.26
This is how this week felt. The new job is amazing but there was lots of learning and lots of meetings and my brain is just tired. I had so much fun playing around with my lack of inspiration, and I hope you like it. I did have a really fun day with my bestie running errands and stopping for beers along the way. ๐ You are the only one responsible for how you feel. XOXO I love you, you're beautiful, and you can do anything, including share this non- comic. Share
Reccs? 9.10.26
I've been reading a book called “There is no Antimemetics Division” which is honestly interesting and good, but also cerebral and intense, which doesn't make for a good before bed read. I need something lighter, fun, but engrossing. I've perused books, but nothing has jumped out at me. Any suggestions? What's the best book you've read recently? Leave a comment Release your past fears and embrace courage. XOXO Share this comic and you'll get your fairytale ending. Share
Cone 9.9.26
The vet visit went well - Harry got a vaccine and the vet looked at his weird lump. He's pretty sure it's not the big C, but he thinks it should be removed anyway because it's pretty close to his eye. So they took some blood and we scheduled surgery for next week. He'll need to wear a cone for a while when he comes home, and the plastic ones the vet gives you are super lame and uncomfortable, so I'm shopping for a soft and cute one.

It was a great first day! Everyone I met was so nice and I felt very welcome and at home. But yeah, I'm trying to burn through these trainings and get them out of the way. Have confidence that you'll attain your boldest dreams. XOXO Share this comic and you'll never be on the receiving end of unwanted physical touch. Share
