An exciting new dining concept, Six Ravens, is coming this summer to Disney Springs from the creators of Gideon’s Bakehouse. Gideon’s Bakehouse, an Orlando based bakery that specializes in cookies so enormous they weigh in at almost a pound each, is the most popular food location at Disney Springs. It’s so popular that the bakery uses a virtual queue with wait times often measuring several hours or more.

Walt Disney World is one of the most popular vacation destinations, which means that not only are the parks crowded, but the dining locations also experience their fair share of crowds. You will definitely want to have a little bit of patience and go into the dining experiences expecting them to take a little bit longer.

When I first became a Disney Cast Member and started my on-the-job training, I learned a lot of things that Cast Members should do. We’re taught the (now) Five Keys (Safety, Courtesy, Show, Efficiency, and Inclusion), the basics of our role, and to always go above and beyond for guests. However, there are also a lot of things that Cast Members should never, ever do. Guests hold Disney service to a very high standard, and Cast Members need to help keep that standard.

We’ve enjoyed staying at Fort Wilderness more times over the years than we can count. Of all the Disney World resorts, Fort Wilderness has the widest variety of activities to enjoy, and is well worth visiting for a day of fun even if you aren’t staying there. Our only complaint has been the main pool area is a little small for the size of the resort. Great news! The pool area at Fort Wilderness has nearly doubled, and the front lobby just got a refresh as well. Full Details below.

Sometimes, I’ll just hear something, and it transports me immediately back to my happy place at Disney World. I’ll hear a distant train from my office or the chime of someone’s cell phone as they receive a text, and all of a sudden, I find myself longing for the ambient sounds of the resorts and the theme parks. It may seem silly, but when you’re homesick for Disney, everything will remind you that you’re not there.

Animal Kingdom is a unique park in so many ways. Not only do they have amazing rides, but there are also tons of animals and breathtaking shows!
