Designed for rear-mount installation and weighing approximately 935 g, this add-on safety system preserves the Matrice 400’s 15.8kg maximum takeoff weight with a minimal impact on flight time of about 6 minutes. Featuring independent power and full-link redundancy, it supports both manual and automatic deployments.

July 9, 2026 – DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today announced the successful completion of three missions on Mount Qomolangma (also known as Mount Everest), advancing breakthroughs in high-altitude delivery, mapping, and atmospheric research.
