Designed for rear-mount installation and weighing approximately 935 g, this add-on safety system preserves the Matrice 400’s 15.8kg maximum takeoff weight with a minimal impact on flight time of about 6 minutes. Featuring independent power and full-link redundancy, it supports both manual and automatic deployments.

Built to overcome signal limits, this new wide-area transmission system for DJI enterprise drones features a 12-antenna array and automatic band selection1. The new Gateway Mode1 connects directly to FlightHub 2 to bypass deployment barriers, while Relay Mode1 supports offline reach.

May 28, 2026 — DJI, the world's leading drone manufacturer, today released the findings of an independent security assessment conducted byOnDefend, a U.S.-based cybersecurity firm trusted by national security stakeholders and enterprise leaders. The assessment covered the DJI Air 3S with RC 2 controller and the DJI Matrice 4E with RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller, subjecting both systems to advanced adversarial testing across software, hardware, and radio frequency domains.
