Franklin plays Josiah, a “Time” magazine reporter assigned to cover the growing Jesus Movement, leading to the cover story that inspired the film.

Sight & Sound to Premiere ‘DAVID-Live’ Friday On Friday, the curtain will open for the home entertainment premiere of DAVID-Live broadcast live from the Sight & Sound theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Years in the making, the lavish musical production is the latest show to entertain and inspire audiences through the company, which now includes its own streaming service, www.sight-sound.tv.

Lifemark Movie Defies Urge to Sit on Sideline in Abortion War By DeWayne Hamby Lifemark, the newest film from Alex and Stephen Kendrick (War Room, Overcomer, Courageous), releases in theaters this week through Fathom Events. Based on a true story, the film marks the reunion of the brothers with Kirk Cameron, who starred in the very popular Fireproof in 2008. Cameron was instrumental in bringing the story, of a young man turning 18 and reuniting with his biological parents, to the Kendricks.

That’s a theme running through the new family drama “Gigi and Nate,” which follows a young man who becomes paralyzed below the waist and must rely on his family, friends, and a capuchin monkey service animal to bring him out of despair. Although it focuses on Nate’s family, director Nick Hamm says the message of compassion, understanding, and positivity is one that everyone can relate to.
