Parramatta got off to a dream start with Sean Russell going aerial to score off a short-side Mitchell Moses chip to make it 6-0. The Dragons answered in brilliant fashion 15 minutes in with a deft Lyhkan King-Togia chip bouncing perfectly into the arms of a chasing Tyrell Sloan.

Nathan Cross’ Dragons fought hard but fell to the defending premier Brisbane Broncos 24-16 at WIN Stadium on Sunday. The clash marked the final home game of Teagan Berry and Zali Hopkins’ Dragons careers as they embark on new journeys in 2027 and beyond.

The St George Illawarra Dragons can confirm that the club has granted Zali Hopkins a release from the final year of her contract to pursue a long-term opportunity elsewhere. Hopkins has spent five seasons with the club, making her NRLW debut in Round 4, 2022 and playing a role in the side’s charge towards the postseason that same season. The 24-year-old was named one of the club’s co-captains ahead of the 2025 season and went on to play in all 11 matches.

Nathan Cross has updated his squad to take on the Brisbane Broncos at WIN Stadium in Round 10 of the 2026 NRLW season. 24-Hour Update: Shenae Ciesiolka has overcome a quad injury and will slot onto the wing. Ahlivia Ingram joins the interchange in place of Seriah Palepale (stood down). The squad will be in action in the opening leg of a Father’s Day double-header.

Dragons young guns Maria Paseka and Cyrus Stanley-Traill have both earnt call-ups to Fiji’s respective Rugby League World Cup train-on squads. Jezebel Navusolo, who enjoyed a standout campaign with St George’s NSW Women’s Premiership squad, was also named in the Fiji Bulikula squad. Paseka, 20, has cemented herself as one of the Red V’s key contributors throughout the 2026 season having scored three tries and averaged 103 run metres in eight games this season.
