Global education leaders will gather at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on Friday, 10 July and the DRM chairman will be attending, contributing to discussions on how resilient, inclusive technologies can strengthen learning systems worldwide.

SE-TA 2 Brings Rock’n Roll to Europasender Waldheim transmitter on 6 July
On 6 July, the Europasender Waldheim transmitter will relay a DRM shortwave music programme from Germany for Europe. SE-TA 2 is a private German shortwave radio station producing and curating a variety of music-based programmes and special broadcasts in both digital and analogue formats. SE-TA 2 will present Let’s Go Rock’n Roll, a 1-hour music programme repeated throughout the transmission window. Listeners are invited to send feedback, reception reports and recordings via e-mail to se-ta@web.de.
DRM German Platform Meets in Ahrweiler Near Bonn
The annual meeting of the German DRM Platform on June 16 and 17 took place in Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate, close to the city of Bonn. The main topic of the first meeting day was the discussion with members of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance about DRM. Following the presentation of DRM, various scenarios and applications were considered.

DRM educational solutions were again presented at the annual eLearning Africa event held this year June 3-5 in Accra, Ghana, by Edugist, a Nigerian education and media organisation. The eLearning Africa annual conference and exhibition, established in 2005, is the largest and most comprehensive knowledge sharing event for digital education, training and skills on the African continent.
