Dr. Margaret Rutherford Blogs
Blog
Hello and welcome to Dr. Margaret Rutherford.com! I’m so glad you’re here. I have been a psychologist in private practice for over twenty-five years. I began writing online in 2012, and I was just narcissistic enough to believe that I might have something fresh or funny to say about what I’d learned.
Since that time, I’ve launched three different versions of this website. I’ve begun a podcast called The SelfWork Podcast with Dr. Margaret Rutherford. I’ve created monthly FaceBook Lives for The Mighty. And now I’m excited to announce that my book, entitled Perfectly Hidden Depression: How to Break Free from the Perfectionism that Masks Your Depression, was launched in November of 2019. Source

My Mother’s Story and Struggle with Perfectly Hidden Depression
People have asked me if I struggled with perfectionism and perfectly hidden depression. After all, I’ve spent more than a decade of my life researching and writing about it. What Are The Warning Signs of Narcissism?
Today we’re going to focus on exactly what narcissism is and why you might be attracted to those people with narcissistic traits. First, here’s narcissism in action – and very dramatic action.
