CHENNAI: A 32-year-old man was killed after a van knocked his two-wheeler down near Taramani on Saturday. The police said the van driver was inebriated at the time of the accident. The deceased was identified as Nagarajan (32), a resident of Kodambakkam. Nagarajan was employed in a private firm in Taramani. On Saturday morning, he went to his office as usual, and was riding to another location along Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR) towards Madhya Kailash when the accident happened.

According to Customs, an AirAsia flight from Thailand via Kuala Lumpur landed at Chennai airport in the early hours of Sunday. Officials were monitoring passengers and stopping those found suspicious for questioning.
