His new exhibition, WITNESS, opens September 5–7 at Porchlight Studio as part of the 25th Annual Santa Barbara Studio Artists Tour.

Although our city is named Santa Barbara, there are few images of Santa Barbara or Saint Barbara here. One is above the doorway on the front of the building at 14 E. Carrillo. This building displays her image because when the building was built in 1926, it was the home of the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce.

Inglewood is getting its first night market. A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched for a Santa Barbara educator and artist who was left seriously injured after an accident. Recently, Michael Long fell from a ladder, and the accident left him with a broken femur and ankle, a compressed vertebra, and a cracked pelvis, per the campaign. Due to these serious injuries, Long is unable to walk or work, and instead must dedicate time to healing and rehabilitation.
