Sanjay A Lathkar Appointed DG (Security), Department of Atomic Energy
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed Sanjay A Lathkar, a 1995-batch Jharkhand cadre IPS officer, as Director General (Security) in the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The appointment was approved on September 15, 2026, with Lathkar set to hold the position until his superannuation on September 30, 2028, or until further orders. Appointment at Level-16 Lathkar will serve as DG (Security) at Level-16 of the Pay Matrix.
