Britain to boost security for Jewish communities
Britain will allocate more than £250 million ($335 million) over the next three years to strengthen security for Jewish communities following a series of antisemitic attacks, the British government said on Monday. The plan includes deploying more than 500 additional police officers across England and Wales, with a focus on Jewish neighborhoods, schools, synagogues and community centers. About 300 officers will be assigned to London and roughly 80 to Greater Manchester.
At EU Foreign Ministers meeting, Ireland pushes for total ban on trade from Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria
Ireland, the country which chairs the EU Council of Ministers since July 1, is advocating a full EU ban on trade of products from Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), together with several EU member states, including Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Such a measure is one of three options that are on the table of EU Foreign Ministers who arte meeting Monday in Brussels.

Three hundred people were evacuated Saturday evening from a neighborhood in Sarcelles following a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near a synagogue that was found to contain “a weapon of war,” French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said Sunday. Sarcelles is a suburb north of Paris where a large Jewish community lives.

Belgium to check if conditions are met before recognising Palestine
