Allume has launched SolShare 2, a new generation of its apartment solar-sharing technology that adds battery integration for the first time, allowing apartment residents to access energy storage benefits traditionally reserved for standalone homes. The upgraded system enables apartment buildings to share both rooftop solar and battery storage across multiple dwellings, with Allume forecasting annual energy bill savings of more than $750 per resident when paired with a battery system.

Fox ESS has signed a strategic battery energy storage agreement with renewable energy distributor OSW, setting a two-year supply target of 5GWh for the Australian market. Under the agreement, OSW will distribute Fox ESS battery storage products through its Australian operations, supporting projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. OSW chief executive Anson Zhang says the partnership combines the strengths of both organisations as they continue to expand internationally.
