I’ve been drafting this for a while, and in the meantime, I’ve fallen two weeks behind.

Hello! I hope you’re well and have been enjoying the rain when it comes, after the mad heatwave we’ve had. I’m normally a sun worshipper, but I genuinely find myself enjoying a rainy day now; I picture all the plants in my garden reaching their fronds up to the sky, and doing a Gene Kelly! Weather aside - I’m here with a shop update. I wanted to let you know I’ve just done a big card restock prompted by getting some Christmas Card orders that came through recently.

Hello! I’m back from holiday! It’s the start of the new school term, and I’m excited to be back and looking forward to a fun, creative month with you all! Below are all the dates for your calendar. Hello! I’m here with the replays for July’s Art Clubs. Both Art Club videos were made with the Kings Cross Illustration Fair in mind - see my post about it here - which is always a big event in the calendar.

Picture Book Clubis an online book club to explore children’s books together. We look closely at illustration, storytelling, publishing and everything in-between; conversations often meander wonderfully, and it’s always the highlight of my month! It’s part book discussion, part creative conversation, and always shaped by the group. One of my favourite things on the MA was when we looked at Picture Books together and analysed them, so I am thrilled to run this on my Substack.
