boAt profit jumps 38% to Rs 84 Cr in FY26
Consumer electronics brand boAt reported a 38% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 84.5 Cr in the fiscal year ended March 2026, compared with Rs 61.1 Cr in FY25, while profit before tax (PBT) grew 53% YoY to Rs 114.3 Cr, according to the company’s press release. The company’s revenue from operations declined 4.6% YoY to Rs 2,931 Cr in FY26 from Rs 3,073 Cr in FY25.
Flipkart Minutes overtakes Swiggy Instamart in dark stores across top 10 cities: CLSA
Flipkart Minutes has overtaken Swiggy Instamart in the number of dark stores across India’s top 10 cities, as the horizontal e-commerce major continues to expand its quick-commerce network. Flipkart Minutes had 627 dark stores across these cities as of August 2026, compared with 615 for Swiggy Instamart, according to a CLSA report. The brokerage firm also said Flipkart Minutes has surpassed Instamart in pincode coverage across the top 10 cities.

Bengaluru-based healthcare startup Even Healthcare is set to corner a second round of funding this year. The company is set to raise Rs 208 crore or $22 million in a Series B funding round led by Khosla Ventures, participation from DLB Ventures, Simon Fiduciaria and others. In January 2026, it raised $20 million led by Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave.
Voice AI startup Ringg raises $10 Mn led by Peak XV
Bengaluru-based AI startup Ringg AI has raised $10 million in an extended Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Arkam Ventures and Capital 2b. The firm had previously raised $5.5 million in Series A funding in January this year, taking the total size of the round to $15.5 million.
TDV Partners leads $250K pre-seed round in dog care platform Scooby’s Club
Scooby’s Club, a network of premium dog care hubs in residential neighbourhoods, has raised $250K in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners. The Bengaluru-based startup will use the funds to expand to two new properties across Bengaluru over the next 6-12 months, along with hiring and training canine coaches to deliver an expert-led experience.
Honasa Consumer calls off Fluence Pharma acquisition
Mamaearth parent Honasa Consumer has called off its proposed acquisition of a 58% stake in nutraceuticals company Fluence Pharma due to the non-fulfilment of closing conditions under the share purchase agreement. The company informed the stock exchanges on August 25 that it had terminated the proposed transaction. Honasa had announced the acquisition in June at an enterprise value of around Rs 135 crore.

The journey of DealShare, an e-commerce platform focused on groceries and household essentials, is nearing its end as the company’s board weighs potential acquisitions by online pharmacy platform TrueMeds and meat and seafood e-retailer Captain Fresh, sources told Entrackr. Talks between DealShare, TrueMeds and Captain Fresh are underway but have not reached a final agreement.

Climate-tech startup CarbonStrong has raised Rs 12.5 crore in a seed funding round led by IAN Angel Fund, with participation from Rainmatter, Social Alpha, Spectrum Impact and Full Circle Ventures. The proceeds will be used to set up its first production facility, expand the team, develop and test products, and scale from customer trials to commercial production, CarbonStrong said in a press release.
Airbound raises $37 Mn from Greenoaks, DoorDash, Lachy Groom and others
Bengaluru-based aerospace startup Airbound has raised $37 million in a Series A round led by Greenoaks, with participation from DoorDash, Lachy Groom, Lightspeed and Humba Ventures. The latest round takes Airbound’s total funding to nearly $50 million since its launch in 2023. The company plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate engineering, commercial-scale manufacturing and go-to-market initiatives.
