Integrity & Wellbeing Month brings together education, awareness, practical tools and support resources designed to strengthen positive culture across all levels of our sport.

WEG Wrap-Up: Results, Highlights and Looking Ahead As the dust settles on the World Equestrian Games (WEG), the event has once again showcased the very best of equestrian sport on the world stage. Across all disciplines, athletes and horses delivered outstanding performances, demonstrating exceptional skill, determination and partnership under pressure.

Equestrian Australia takes all allegations of horse welfare breaches seriously and is committed to upholding the highest standards of horse welfare across the sport. In June 2025, Equestrian Australia received a report of an alleged horse welfare breach and, upon notification, reported the matter to the FEI for investigation, in accordance with its adoption of the FEI Code of Conduct for the Welfare of the Horse.

Join enthusiastic school-based competitors, their families, friends, and supporters as they converge from every corner of the nation to the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC) on the 28 September to 1 October 2026 for an unforgettable experience. Open to equestrians aged 5-18 years old, our participants earn their spot through an exhilarating journey from the State Interschool Championships to the prestigious Australian Interschool Championships.

Australian Four-in-Hand Driving legend, Boyd Exell has made history at the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026, winning his eighth consecutive individual World Championship title - an unprecedented achievement in the sport. The global equestrian star combined with fellow countryman Tor van den Berge to secure an historic team silver for Australia in Driving, capping a remarkable championship for the Australian driving athletes.

It's encouraging to see so many members beginning their coaching journey and others continuing to progress through the pathway. The EA Coaching Framework provides a structured pathway from grassroots participation through to high-performance coaching and Coach Educator accreditation, ensuring coaches have the knowledge and skills to support both horse and athlete welfare at every stage.

Coaching Update July was one of the busiest months of the year for the coaching team, with preparations for CANTER Con 2026 taking centre stage. Coordinating an event of this scale required extensive planning and collaboration to ensure presenters, delegates, resources and schedules were all in place to deliver a high-quality professional development experience.
