Keegan Murray - The Kings Ultimate X-Factor by Will -Z Keegan Murray was really good last year. 206 made 3's, record-setting good in case you forgot. What you may have missed is how much his scoring and production helped the Kings win. The Kings were 12-1 last season when Murray scored at least 20 Points, showing that he was already an X-Factor in his first season. Keegan is primed for a breakout year two, and when you look deeper into his game and stats, there is a clear avenue toward stardom.

Free Agency is just days away and rumors are flying like this is a middle school cafeteria. The one that is picking up more and more steam is that Kyle Kuzma is going to become the newest member of the Sacramento Kings. I'll be honest and say that originally, Kuzma wasn't very high on my list (ranked #12 on my FA Wish List), but as I've sat on the idea, everything seems to point to a perfect pairing. Let's look at the numbers and see why.

By Will Z: Monte McNair and the Sacramento Kings are facing one of their most crucial decisions in years; that's what to do with Free Agent Harrison Barnes. Barnes has been a member of Kings for the last 5 seasons and helped bring them back to relevancy last season with his steady play. With their other 4 starters seemingly set with De'Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray, and Domantas Sabonis, the last position standing to fill is the second wing position.

We've already taken a look at the top 5 Wing options for the Kings in Free Agency, now let's move on to the Bigs. Sacramento is in an interesting situation where they can either bring in a starting 3 or 4, depending on how they view Keegan Murray going forward. As compared to the wings, not all of the big men options will be starters, which drops their priority down slightly for me.

The Sacramento Kings had a breakout season in 2022-23 with their first trip to the playoffs in 17 years and will look to carry that momentum into the offseason. Monte McNair and company aren't just looking to maintain the success from the drought-breaking year but to build on it into next season and beyond. One of the many key moves Monte made last year en route to his Executive of the Year award was signing Malik Monk and Matthew Dellavedova in Free Agency.

This is it folks, it all comes down to the winner take all Game 7. The Kings dominated Game 6 from the jump and will look to bring that momentum home to Sacramento in front of the raucous crowd. Let's see what they can do to take the series and move on to a matchup against the Lakers. The Kings finally hit their shots in Game 6, and most notably Kevin Huerter appears to have broken out of his slump with a 3-of-8 (37.5%) shooting night from deep.

On the brink of elimination, the Kings head back to The Bay to try and hold off the Warriors for one more game to force a winner take all game 7. The have yet to have what feels like a perfect game in the series, and if there was ever a time for one of those, it's now. Let's see what they can do to stave off elimination. There's no other way around it. The Kings need to hit their shots to win Game 6.

The Kings and Warriors head back to Sacramento for the pivotal Game 5 in what seems like the breaking point for this series. Technically it's not a must win for the Kings, but it would be ideal to avoid a must win scenario heading back to Chase Center on Friday. Let's see what the Kings can do to maintain their home-court advantage. The main storyline heading into this one is De'Aaron Fox and his finger.

The Kings and their fans head West on I-80 for Game 3 to try and take a commanding lead in the series. Sacramento did what they were supposed to do by defending their home-court, and now will look to try and steal a game at the Chase Center. The story line coming into this one, for better or worse, is Draymond Green, so let's start there. In the 9 games they played without Green this year, the Warriors have gone 3-6.
