Memphis 27, UNLV 21 Memphis opened the Charles Huff era by doing something that is never easy: walking into Las Vegas, facing a UNLV team with legitimate conference and College Football Playoff aspirations, and leaving with a 27-21 victory. The Tigers trailed 21-14 in the third quarter before scoring the final 13 points of the night. This was a win built on resilience more than dominance. Memphis didn't control the game from the start.
