TAI set to resume T-70 production following US sanctions relief
Improved relations between Ankara and Washington lift the T-70 program. Turkish Aerospace (TAI) will resume production of the T-70 utility helicopter – a local variant of the Sikorsky S-70 – following US government sanctions relief. “THE [T-70] The program has already resumed,” said Mehmet Demiroglu, Managing Director of TAI, at the recent Farnborough Airshow.
