Hiiii, I’m super excited you are reading this because I did it! This is my second week in a row sending the newsletter.

Hiii, I’m back and it’s Black August. This Black August I’m pausing on the drugs, alcohol. Focusing on freeing myself from the clutches of perfection starting with this newsletter. I will be posting weekly, I promise. I’m promising you because I’m less likely to break the promise if it’s to you than to myself. Nonetheless, this week I’m sharing my feelings about Jakhi McCray through a personal experience and a poem I found in my notes. High me writes a lot and sober me is here to share their work.

Hiiii I’m back! I’m going to keep saying I’m back until you see my words once a week! Anyways I got high and watched Brokeback Mountain, and these are my feelings. Onto my feelings… I got high and watched Brokeback Mountain. The last time I watched it, I was in highschool, excited to see queer representation. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to watch because it was rated R and there was no way my mother would buy me a ticket for a movie which guaranteed naked people.

Hiiii, I’m back! I’m so back. I’m back with this newsletter which I really want to be weekly. The goal is to be weekly but I can’t promise to be a consistent human because I’m not a robot. Even robots malfunction but anywayssss, this newsletter will include my feelings on one piece of the news, my feelings about a life experience, or things that my feelings make me write.

Hiiii I’m here with the Feel the News after dark episode 2. I got high and talked about living in a slaveocracy because work was brutal this day. Much of what I say is heavily influenced by Saidiya Hartman’s Scenes of Subjection,Lorenzo Kom’boa Ervin, Anarchism and the Black Revolution, Martin Sostre, and Bell Hooks probably. Today I’ll be sharing my feelings about ICE working with the TSA to abduct people at airports. Onto the news… The Transport Security Administration aka the TSA aka the people who threw away all my Model United Nations’ former friend’s lip glosses in college are sharing all passengers’ names with ICE.
