Penn Stainless Products, Inc. today announced a planned leadership transition as founder and President Jim Seward retires after 47 years of leading the company he founded. Dan Seward, current Executive Vice President, will assume the role of President effective September 30, 2026. Jim Seward and a business partner established Penn Stainless Products, Inc. in 1979 with the acquisition of Schrader’s Stainless, a fabrication business founded in 1949.

Trilogy Machinery, Inc. announces that Patrick Kavanagh has joined the company as a Service Technician. Patrick brings 22 years of hands-on experience operating, setting up, maintaining, and repairing mechanical Roundo section benders, gained during his tenure at the Joseph Kavanagh Company in Baltimore, Maryland. His background extends beyond machine operation to equipment maintenance and repair work, giving him a well-rounded technical foundation.

BLM GROUP USA, announces the opening of its expanded Training Center, a key component of a broader expansion at the company’s North American headquarters in Novi, Michigan. The project adds 65,000 square feet of new space, nearly doubling the size of the campus to more than 140,000 square feet.

For the German Konrad repository, HUBTEX has developed a coordinated fleet of five special-purpose vehicle types. Several of the large vehicles will now be dismantled into individual components brought into the underground facility and reassembled there. During this process the existing inspection and documentation chain must also be continued seamlessly. The vehicles are part of the future storage process of the Federal Company for Radioactive Waste Disposal (BGE).
