The new membranes will be commercially available from October 2026 and will be showcased at Singapore International Water Week, beginning on 15 June. According to Toray, the TSW-K/M/V series combines higher salt rejection and water permeability than its existing seawater RO membrane products. The company reports that salt permeability is up to 55% lower than current Toray models, enabling new desalination facilities to move from conventional two-pass RO treatment to a single-pass process.
Air Products inaugurates US$70mn membrane manufacturing expansion in Missouri
The expansion is the largest single-site investment made by Air Products Membrane Solutions and is intended to meet growing demand in biogas and hydrogen recovery applications, as well as nitrogen generation for aerospace and cleaner fuel solutions for the marine sector. The facility will manufacture the Prism GreenSep membrane separator for bio-LNG production and the Prism N2Sep membrane separator, which separates nitrogen from compressed air.
Bio-UV Group’s technology integrated into EU-funded French mobile wastewater recycling project
The project, led by France’s Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Water Authority in consortium with DV2E and the University of Montpellier's European Membranes Institute, aims to produce up to 110,000m3 of high-quality recycled water per year, transforming treated wastewater into a vital and sustainable urban resource.

The proposed acquisition will combine De Nora’s electrochemical and water treatment technologies with BW Water’s process engineering and turnkey project delivery capabilities. According to the companies, the deal is intended to establish a broader platform for integrated water solutions across industrial wastewater, ultrapure water and desalination applications.
Camfil launches Stat-Safe filter cartridges to reduce static-related fire and explosion risks
The new cartridges use a patented antistatic urethane to dissipate static charges and prevent the buildup of static electricity within a dust collector. Unlike conventional grounding methods that depend on clips, wires or fabric swatches, the Stat-Safe design integrates the antistatic urethane directly into the cartridge construction as the adhesive securing the filter pan to the media pack.
