Women in pharmacy have consistently led innovative, patient-centered approaches that integrate a broad range of expertise, creating a holistic model of care that truly considers the whole patient.

Mental health is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as “a state of wellbeing in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and is able to make a contribution to their community.” Most people struggle with their mental health from time to time, whether it’s brought on by stress from work, financial issues or relationship strain.

Women have always been integral to the advancement of pharmacy, science, and education, and I have witnessed this impact firsthand throughout my own journey. In pharmacy, women contribute not only through scientific knowledge and clinical expertise, but also through compassion, leadership, and mentorship.
