Bhopal, July 5, 2026: A special screening of The Narmada Story, a film dedicated to the courage, commitment and human values of the Madhya Pradesh Police, was held on Saturday at a cinema in DB Mall, Bhopal. The special screening was attended by Director General of Police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh, Kailash Makwana, as the chief guest. He watched the film along with several senior police officials and police personnel from across the state.

Patna (Bihar) : Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor, who was named as the candidate for the Bankipur assembly by-election, on Sunday termed the development as a beginning of "new kind of politics" in Bihar. The seat, traditionally a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stronghold and was vacated by BJP national president Nitin Nabin after he was elected to the Rajya Sabha, necessitating the bypoll.

Pan India mythological adventure film Nagabandham is set to offer audiences a more streamlined cinematic experience as the makers have decided to reduce the film's duration. Starting from July 5, the film will be screened in theatres with a newly edited version, trimming nearly 20 minutes from its original runtime. The revised runtime of the film will now stand at 2 hours and 45 minutes.
