Emmanuel Wanyonyi has done it again. The Kenyan superstar won the men’s 800m at the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels in 1:41.80, completing a stunning four-peat in the championship event. Wanyonyi has now captured the Diamond Trophy four consecutive times, continuing his remarkable run of dominance in the 800m. His latest victory adds another major accomplishment to a 2026 Diamond League season that has already featured some spectacular performances.

A major twist has shaken up Diamond League Brussels 2026. Mondo Duplantis will not compete in the men’s pole vault, putting an unexpected end to his bid for another Diamond League title. Duplantis entered the Brussels Final as one of the biggest stars of the competition and was chasing a sixth consecutive Diamond Trophy.
