Hello, Citizens of Funk World! I hope you’re having an awesome day! Recently, my family got a new dog! His name is Barney and he’s a Golden Retriever, which means he’s very excitable, to say the least. For example, any time a guest comes to the house, we have to keep him on a leash or else he’ll try and give the guest a hug. Also, when I pet him, sometimes Barney will put his paw on me when I stop! I guess he must want me to pet him some more.

And by treat, I’m not talking about watering and fertilizing! I’m talking about what you actually do to it. I know, I know. The way we treat our lawns isn’t really something we normally think about, unless you’re like me and your mind likes to wander.

Hello, Citizens of Funk World! I hope you’re all having an awesome week! I’ve started to drive a lot more recently, which is really inconvenient since they just started repaving the roads. Now, anytime I have to go to work, it’s really slow going because the traffic is restricted to one lane. It can be annoying when traffic is congested, especially when you’re trying to get somewhere fast, which isn’t happening often in my neck of the woods.

If I recall correctly, I’ve already told you all about how I don’t like small talk, which is weird since I do pretty well with public speaking. I think that part of the reason is that sometimes I have trouble thinking of what words to use when I have to make small talk. Speaking of words, have you ever noticed how weird some figures of speech are? Take “Driving me up the wall”, for instance.

For one thing, it’s really nice outside, which means that I don’t have to stay inside and eat everything in the house out of boredom. I can just walk down the street and spend my hard earned money on one of the many food trucks that venture into our neighborhood.

Hello, Citizens of Funk World! I hope you’re all having a great week! Today, I’d like to talk a little bit about modern art. It can be unusual compared to other kinds of art, at least in my opinion. With other art, you pretty much know what you’re going to get. For instance, the Mona Lisa! It’s a portrait of a woman; pretty standard stuff. In fact, the only abnormal thing about it is the fact she doesn’t have any eyebrows! On the other hand, modern art is all over the place.

Hello, Citizens of Funk World! I hope you’re all having an awesome week! My family just got back from our spring break trip to Destin, Florida. I’m glad to be home, but I can’t say I don’t miss Destin. For instance, I really liked being able to see the beach from our hotel room’s balcony, even if I don’t actually like going on the beach due to my aversion to sand. I already miss spending a good amount of time in the lazy river and hot tub and eating out at all of the local restaurants.

Hello Citizens of Funk World! I hope you’re all having an awesome day! Last Friday, I went to the Fishers Arts Council Disability Awareness Art Exhibition as a vendor and appreciator of art. I had a lot of fun hanging out at Fishers City Hall, taking in all the art, and selling my wares.
