For me, there’s nothing better than getting so immersed in a single-player game that you’re thinking about it for weeks on end. While the usual go-to for many is playing games of this ilk on a massive TV, home projectors have come a long way in recent years, with input lag and not being able to use them in the daytime almost becoming a thing of the past. AWOL Vision is one such company that is making some great gear in this regard, and it has just announced an absolute beast at IFA 2026.

NHL 27 Review – Great enhancements, terrible menus
Home Reviews NHL 27 Review – Great enhancements, terrible menus As a Canadian, it is in my DNA to love the game of hockey. While my favorite team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, are likely to disappoint me once again for the 2026-2027 season, I can at least enjoy another season of hockey through EA’s latest creation.
The Blood of Dawnwalker already has a time mod that slows down the timer dramatically
The Blood of Dawnwalker just launched, and it comes with a rather interesting time-passing mechanic at its core. The game limits players to a set number of days to complete its story, forcing choices about which quests to pursue and which to sacrifice. It is a deliberately stressful design, built to make every decision feel like it costs you something. For some players, that is the point. For others, it turns exploration and side content into an anxiety spiral rather than an enjoyable experience.

I’m actually a big fan of watching GTA RP, so when we got the news that Rockstar Games was partnering with nopixel on future endeavors, I was pretty hyped for the next iteration of the server. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like nopixel V is going to disappoint, with this update shaping up to be a pretty huge moment for the scene. Even if you’re not lucky enough to be jumping into Los Santos yourself, you might want to tune in to your favorite roleplayers to pick up some rewards.

This tiny 4:3 retro monitor looks made for old consoles – and it’s headed to Kickstarter
Modern TVs might be bigger, thinner, and considerably better behaved than the hulking CRTs we grew up with, but plug an old console into a 65-inch widescreen and something still feels completely wrong – well, it does to me and many of my retro brethren, which is why I pack three 15″ portable TVs and a 28″ Sony Trinitron that is two heavy for two people to carry, in my gaming set up.
