With how much Grand Theft Auto 6 is changing or outright overhauling, including the actual act of stealing cars, the jury is still out on the actual game feel. Previews emerging the same day as the Extended Look were hands-off, and while it certainly looks visceral in the latest gameplay, there’s still so much to learn. For example, the driving.
The Blood of Dawnwalker Sells 1 Million Copies
PC performance woes couldn’t keep Rebel Wolves’ The Blood of Dawnwalker down, as the open-world action RPG has already sold one million copies. Before launch, it had crossed two million wishlists across all platforms and was reportedly among the top wishlisted titles this year. In terms of concurrent player count on Steam, it crossed a respectable 78,000, which isn’t too far off from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition (which many from the studio previously worked on).
Crimson Desert Update Buffs Camp Funds From Silver, Adds New Dispatch Mission, and More
A new patch is live for Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert, but in case you didn’t get the memo, it’s not on the scale of the recent Enhanced Update. Or really any of the others that added new content and features. Instead, Version 2.01.00 focuses purely on fixes and improvements, because when an update retools and improves the entire story, bugs are inevitable. Some fixes include furniture spawning without any house present at the Greymane Camp.

While Hell is Us sort of came and went last year, Rogue Factor has been working on updates and addressing feedback. One major criticism surrounding the title is its lack of enemy variety. And lest you think they’re just recolored versions of existing threats, the teaser below showcases what some bring to the table.

Crimson Deserts’ Story Expansion Is Making the Base Game Feel Like Just the Beginning
We didn’t expect we’d be here so soon for this very purpose but the team behind Crimson Desert has once again surprised us all with Charting The Unknown, an expansion for the action rpg that we’re quite intrigued by. It defies what you expect from a typical RPG expansion, just as the base game has changed the way we think about open worlds and how constantly one can continue to evolve if there’s a concentrated effort to make that so.

It doesn’t matter if it’s day or night in Nivalis, a cyberpunk-themed place where you start with nothing but a ramen shop to your name and grow your hospitality empire beyond your wildest dreams.
Code Vein 2 Announces New Battle Rush Mode Update 2.0, Includes Mask of Idris Bosses
If you’ve been thinking about picking up Code Vein 2’s Mask of Idris DLC, this is probably good news. A new Battle Rush mode, Trials of Remembrance, is coming to the base game, featuring a medley of all the bosses you’ve probably taken down over the course of your adventure if you’ve seen it through to the end. That’s welcome enough news, as some of those fights are quite memorable and a lot of fun.
