“Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2” Review by Nick Navarro “Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2” is one of those collections where the number of games included almost feels beside the point. Sure, I can look at the package and say that it only includes two major titles, but then I remember that one of those games is “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots,” a game that has been trapped on the PlayStation 3 for an incredibly long time.

“Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy” Review by Nick Navarro I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly excited when I heard that the next game in the “A Plague Tale” series would be a prequel starring Sophia. I’m a big fan of both “A Plague Tale: Innocence” and “A Plague Tale: Requiem,” so naturally, I wanted to see where that story would go next. Sophia was a secondary character in “Requiem,” and the idea of making her the centerpiece of an entirely new adventure didn’t immediately grab me.

“Blood Dungeon” Review by Nick Navarro I’ve played more than my fair share of survivor-like games over the last few years, and at this point it takes a little more than throwing a bunch of enemies onto the screen to get my attention. The genre has exploded since “Vampire Survivors” popularized the formula, and while I still have plenty of fun with it, I’ve seen enough variations on the idea to know when something is simply following the same blueprint.

Today at gamescom’s Opening Nite Live event in Cologne, Germany, Eclipse Glow Games unveiled a brand-new trailer for its eagerly awaited single-player action-adventure game, Tides of Annihilation. In the new teaser, Gwendolyn inexplicably obtains King Arthur’s supernatural power, giving players a dramatic glimpse of the game’s emotional heart after London is destroyed.

Star Wars has a problem most game developers would probably love to have: there is simply too much of it. Give a studio the license and the temptation must be enormous. Add lightsabers. Space battles. Tatooine. Bounty hunting. A cantina. Crafting. A speeder. A famous droid walking through the background. And while we are here, perhaps the player should also decide the fate of the galaxy before dinner. The strange thing is that many of the best Star Wars games have historically done the opposite.

The 4th Day of Anime NYC the final day of the anime convention more often than not a day where the anime con blues can hit some people. Moreover, while it may be the final day it is never truly over as long as people keep enjoying themselves and talking to the friends they have made during these ever so fleeting moments. It is in those fleeting moments that we look back and remember all the fun times we have all had from reuniting with friends, meeting new ones, and making irreplaceable memories.

Day 3 on Anime NYC is often the busiest day due to the sheer number of fans coming into the convention. Moreover, there were plenty of games to be had and played as well as cosplays as despite the fact that the convention is coming to a close people there are still plenty of memories to make with friends, loved ones, or with people you just met.

Day 2 on Anime NYC is still keeping that electrifying energy going as the convention was looking livelier then yesterday and had plenty of events, panels, and meet ups dotted throughout the day. And the games on display from those on the show floor to the gaming area, felt great and have plenty of potential to grow with plenty of feed back that they are going to get this weekend.
