The Netflix anime slate got its biggest update of 2026 at Anime NYC on Thursday, with trailers, premiere dates, and first-look images for eight animated titles, led by an October 20 launch for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and a January 2027 return for Blue Eye Samurai. The title with the deepest Black creative bench on the entire slate got seven words.

Marvel Television dropped the first VisionQuest trailer Friday night at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Paul Bettany and James Spader brought it out with Kevin Feige. The series premieres October 14 on Disney+. Bettany is back as Vision. Spader is back as Ultron. And onstage the three of them said the thing out loud for the first time: VisionQuest closes a trilogy that started with WandaVision in 2021 and continued through Agatha All Along in 2024.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 arrives on Disney+ November 20. The teaser trailer debuted Friday night at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and Disney staged it properly, sending an army of Artemis’s hunters out to introduce Walker Scobell before two surprise guests walked on. Ming-Na Wen is Hera. Andra Day is Athena. Neither had been announced. Both got the room.
