Neil Druckmann is making it very clear that whatever happens in The Last of Us Season 3, he and Naughty Dog weren’t involved in shaping its creative direction. Druckmann, creator of the games and former co-showrunner of HBO’s adaptation, previously announced his departure from the series following its Season 3 renewal. Craig Mazin is continuing as the sole showrunner, but Druckmann has now clarified that his exit also means Naughty Dog itself had no creative role in developing the upcoming season.

Apple TV has released the first teaser for Tenzing, and this one looks like it could deliver in intense mountain movie. The film revisits the historic first ascent of Mount Everest while putting Tenzing Norgay, the legendary Sherpa climber whose role in that achievement deserves the spotlight, at the center of the story. Keanu Reeves has found his next potential action franchise, and this one throws him straight into the dangerous world of global espionage. Keanu Reeves is set to star in Kill Current: A Jon Hendricks Thriller, an adaptation of Oliver Lowe’s upcoming novel. The Arena has preemptively acquired the project and will finance and produce the film, with Reeves also producing alongside Alexandra Grant through their newly revealed production company, Two Dragonflies.

If you’re waiting for X-Men ’97 to pull another Gambit-style resurrection with Nightcrawler, you probably shouldn’t get your hopes up. Executive producer Eric Lewald says Kurt Wagner’s death is meant to stick. Fans have good reason to be suspicious about this, though. Season 1 seemingly killed Gambit, only for the fan-favorite Cajun mutant to return in Season 2. That naturally raised questions about whether Nightcrawler might eventually find his own way back. According to Lewald, that isn’t the plan.

After spending years on the sidelines, Bernthal’s Punisher has suddenly become one of Marvel’s busiest returning characters. He resurfaced in Daredevil: Born Again, took center stage in The Punisher: One Last Kill, and made his theatrical debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. That’s a pretty awesome run for a character who once looked like he might never return.

What if Hal Jordan isn’t actually the dead Green Lantern we think he is? A fan theory surrounding HBO’s Lanterns has emerged following Episode 4, and it could completely change the way we look at the apparent death teased at the beginning of the series. The key to the whole thing is Zoe Macon, the increasingly suspicious Rushville resident who Hal Jordan and John Stewart now believe could be the Manhunter they’ve been hunting.

Tim Curry had a wonderfully sleazy role as Rooster Hannigan in John Huston’s Annie, and some of his best memories from making the 1982 musical involve the people around him, both on the set and after hours. It’s hard to imagine DC Studios putting Wonder Woman on the sidelines, but that’s the latest rumor making the rounds following the disappointing performance of Supergirl. There’s already a lot of excitement surrounding Adria Arjona and the possibility that she’ll play Diana Prince in next summer’s Man of Tomorrow. Her casting hasn’t been confirmed as Wonder Woman, but if that’s who she’s playing, fans could get their first look at the DCU’s Amazon warrior before her solo movie eventually arrives.
