Hi, I play games like PUBG Mobile and Vainglory on the Asia (Singapore) server from Auckland, and I’m trying to work out which ISP has the best route to SEA. I’m currently on 2Degree fibre. Results from checkping.io: Tokyo: 136 ms Oregon (US): 160 ms Singapore: 209 ms Singapore being slower than both Tokyo and the US West Coast suggests my traffic isn’t going through Australia. From what I’ve read, the best route (NZ → Sydney/Perth → Singapore) should give around 120–130 ms.

Gaming: I’m getting really bad ping/latency spikes every few minutes, which makes online games basically unplayable and sometimes causes me to get AFK warnings. Web browsing: Websites are taking a really long time to load, and sometimes they become completely unresponsive.
