I have to apologize to you guys, I’m getting asked Ella respectfully where tf are the pumpkin recipes??? Late to the party but hopefully not too late. It’s pumpkin time baby. the ultimate baked good. a combination of my favorite things—pumpkin loaf x banana bread.

Iron-Rich Black Sesame Latte&Brownies
Bringing back one of my favorite morning rituals, especially now that the weather is getting cozier—my warming, iron-rich, black sesame cacao latte. Mhmmm. It’s rich, it’s creamy, and it’s full of iron, which is something I have been trying to intentionally consume more of lately. Our bodies don’t produce iron on their own, and especially as menstruating women who bleed every month, it’s important to be supporting our bodies iron stores.
My Fall Kitchen
It’s time to put away the ice cream maker and break out the dutch oven because fall is officially in session! It’s actually crazy how quickly the weather shifts and I am needing to wear my wool socks and a hoodie around the house, turning off my AC, and bundling up in a scarf just to go outside. Already seeing all the gorgeous apples and pumpkins and squash in abundance at the market. Made a banana bread last night in celebration. It’s timeeee.

Today’s coffee cake is a vanilla bean & cardamom walnut coffee cake (with a matching latte).

I am starting to feel that crispppp chill in the air! We’ve gotten to that point in the year where you need a jacket in the morning but you’ll be sweating through it by the afternoon. That lil brisk kiss of wind we do get in the morning & evenings is really getting me excited for fall. I’m getting ready to admit summer defeat. Pumpkins…..I am coming in HOT.
