At the time, she was recruiting technical talent at Apple. Before that, she had spent more than three years recruiting at Amazon. She understood what it takes to compete for engineers in some of the most demanding technology environments in the world. But Rain also heard something personal in the conversation.

General Motors models under $30,000 MSRP Buying a new vehicle doesn't have to break your budget. Chevrolet and Buick sold nearly 700,000 vehicles with starting MSRPs below $30,000 in 2025. Several of those models offer all-wheel drive, and one is fully electric. Here’s a look at every GM vehicle available with an MSRP of less than $30,0001, and the features offered by each.

For the 2026 model year, Chevrolet is offering the Stars & Steel Collection1, a curated lineup of vehicles that celebrates American craftsmanship. The collection spans the Corvette, Colorado, Silverado 1500, Silverado HD, and Silverado EV — all of which are proudly assembled in the United States2 — with unique design elements and select exclusive upgrades.

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA will look for a taste of last year’s success as the team heads to Brazil for the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo and the latest round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). 2025 saw the team claim a historic win at the 4.409 km (2.677-mile), 15-turn Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos) circuit. With the sister car crossing the finish line in second place, it was the first 1-2 by a U.S. manufacturer in the LMP1/Hypercar class.

General Motors was America’s #1 automaker in U.S. sales for the second quarter amid ongoing strong demand for pickup trucks and SUVs. GM sales in Q2 totaled 714,896 vehicles, down 4% which reflected the smaller EV market, discontinued vehicles and some inventory constraints.

Corvette Stingray 3LT Coupe in Torch Red with available features. The headline numbers say it all: the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray broke 200 mph during a validated top-speed run1. That makes Stingray – the entry point into the Corvette lineup – the most-attainable 200-mph capable vehicle currently on sale, starting at $73,4952. It’s huge news for enthusiasts. That 200-mph top-speed mark has long proved a mythical barrier.

As America celebrates 250 years of independence, it’s a moment to recognize the people whose work continues to shape the country’s future. In the years since, GM has continued to iterate on Super Cruise, and in 2022, it added hands-free trailering capability to the system. To this day, Hands-Free Trailering capability is exclusively available with Super Cruise.
