The Ladies League now begins on June 24th at 7:30 PM with two-person teams and a shotgun start. Registration fee is $30.00, and green fees are reduced to $15.00 for league nights. New Canaan High School Seniors Finish SoundWaters Internships
STAMFORD, CT/June 18, 2025 – Three seniors from New Canaan High School made waves this spring as interns at SoundWaters, the region’s leading organization for hands-on climate science and environmental education. Charlotte Campbell, Jaelin Companik and Katherine Kupchak recently spent five weeks immersed in the day-to-day operations at SoundWaters Coastal Education Center at Cove Island Park in Stamford.
A.C.T. of CT awards RHS Theatre scholarship to Dean Trevisani
A.C.T of Connecticut is pleased to announce that Dean Trevisani has been awarded the RHS Theatre Scholarship this year, which was presented by A.C.T. of CT Education committee member, Deb Penn, on June 4th at the RHS Senior Awards ceremony. The A.C.T. of CT scholarship is awarded to a student who seeks to pursue a career in the theater arts, on stage or behind the scenes, and who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the field while at RHS.
Connecticut State Treasurer to Speak at Ridgefield DTC Fundraiser
Connecticut State Treasurer Erick Russell will head a stellar line-up of Ridgefield and state officials that will attend the Ridgefield Democratic Town Committee wine and cheese fundraiser on June 22 from 2 to 4 pm at the home of Arny and Jennifer DiLaura. Russell, a New Haven resident and former associate at the Pullman & Comley law firm, was elected state treasurer in 2022 and is serving his first term.

Make Music Day, celebrated annually on June 21st, is a beloved event that transforms local venues and parks into lively stages for musicians of all levels to showcase their talents. Originating in France in 1982 as “Fete de la Musique,” it has grown into a worldwide phenomenon. In Ridgefield, it has been organized by the Ridgefield Arts Council and is hosted by nancy O, at The Marketplace at Copps Hill. Join us in celebrating Make Music Day, Saturday June 21st, from 12 noon to 5PM.
