A baby was safely and anonymously surrendered on Monday, July 13, 2026, using The Woodlands Township Safe Haven Baby Box located at Fire Station 6 in The Woodlands. The Woodlands Fire Department followed all established Safe Haven Baby Box protocols, and the baby was safely transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation. The Safe Haven Baby Box, located at The Woodlands Fire Department Station 6, provides a secure, anonymous option for the legal surrender of a baby.

The Movie & Dance: Encanto with Live Ballet Folklórico took place at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Friday, July 10 as part of their free 2026 performing arts season. The Woodlands Family YMCA is proud to partner with the IRONMAN Foundation to provide 4,000 swim lessons to local children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn this lifesaving skill.
