Following the conclusion of High Potential season 2 in April 2026, we didn't realize that we would be waiting longer than ever for the hit ABC procedural drama to return. The popular series has enjoyed a place on the network's fall schedule for both of its seasons, but things are changing for the upcoming third season. Luckily, Kaitlin Olson will be back on our screens much sooner.

All American kick-started its season 8 two-hour premiere with two main storylines: building a combined showcase between Beverly High and South Crenshaw High and the sensation of what it means to feel out of the loop after several months away. The back-to-back episodes, "Rewind" and "There Is No Competition," quickly dealt with the aftermath of Jordan and Cassius’ coffee deal, showing South Crenshaw winning the game, but Jordan was willing to start anew with Cassius anyway.

Even though it's still the middle of summer, CBS is making sure we're already getting excited for the new fall television season. After revealing the Marshals season 2 premiere date and confirming when the NCIS shows will be back, the network is solidifying the returns for its Friday night block.

Since we're in the dead of summer, it's no secret that every fan of broadcast television is counting down the days until our favorite shows finally return with new episodes this fall. Unfortunately for Matlock fans, we will be waiting much longer than usual for our comeback to Jacobson Moore—or whatever Matty and Olympia's possible new firm might be called. For the first time, the legal drama starring Kathy Bates won't premiere as part of the CBS fall schedule.

Season 9 of 911 certainly had its ups and downs for fans of the show, from plot lines that started as quickly as they finished to some characters not getting as much screen time as others. While this is usually the case with a large cast, it becomes noticeable when certain favorites are left out. There are still some plots we want to see revisited when season 10 rolls out during the ABC fall 2026-2027 television season.
