Hideout Chicago
Online/Digital
The Hideout is a regular guy bar for irregular folks who just don’t fit in, or just don’t want to fit in. We didn’t choose the name; it has been called the Hideout since it opened (legally) in 1934. Source

Schadenfreude at 25!
Join Chicago’s favorite sketch comedy as they celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special staged reading of their never-before-seen screenplay, “Alderman.” In 2005, Schadenfreude ended its WBEZ radio show to focus on writing a screenplay. The script was good enough to land a deal with a top Hollywood talent agency and to field offers about producing it. Like many Hollywood stories, those deals never happened. The project was shelved and the group returned to work on other projects. Until now.
