Jam City is only a couple of weeks away from releasing his new album My World. The record follows 2023’s EFM and finds the London producer, aka Jack Latham, digging back into club music while letting stranger, more dreamlike textures creep in around the edges. After recently introducing the project with its title track, featuring Aidan, Bawo and Ox Eye, he has now shared another preview, “2am”, a collaboration with London singer songwriter Gianna.

Norwegian artist and producer lene 3000, the alias of Lene Talgø, is getting ready to release her debut album. Raised in a small town on Norway’s southwest coast, she comes to electronic pop from a pretty different starting point: she began playing violin at five, entered a national classical talent programme at 13 and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Electronic Music at the University of Agder.

As we recently announced, Swedish producer and vocalist DJ Suzy is getting ready to release her debut album, Kira Krash, and she’s already shared a few singles from it, including the infectious “speedboat” and “sw33t”. Now “sw33t” gets a second life as “so sw33t”, featuring one of our favourite artists, the very in-demand Nourished By Time.

Thoom is the project of Beirut born, Los Angeles based artist and producer Zeynab Marwan. Her music moves between industrial electronics, alt pop, Arabic songwriting and punk, drawing from the different scenes and places she has lived in over the years, from Beirut and Chicago to Berlin and Los Angeles. She introduced the project with her 2023 debut EP Fantasy for Danger, before recently returning with her new mixtape Everyday, Everything Is At Stake.

London artist and producer Shygirl has always been difficult to pin down. After emerging from the city’s experimental club scene with releases like Cruel Practice and Alias, she stretched her sound into something more sensual and melodic on her 2022 debut album Nymph, before diving back into the dancefloor with Club Shy and Club Shy Room 2. Now she is getting ready for another transformation with her sophomore album, Swallow!, out November 6.

Sophia Stel has announced her debut album. Born in Victoria, B.C. and shaped by her years in Vancouver, the artist and producer first caught our attention with her 2024 debut EP Object Permanence, where vulnerable songwriting met an instinctive, genreless approach to electronic pop. She followed it last year with How to Win At Solitaire, while her hazy, self directed visuals and increasingly singular sound earned her support from names including A.G. Cook, Troye Sivan and Robyn.

Boyhood, the bedroom pop project of rural Ontario artist Caylie Runciman, is getting ready to release her new album I’ll Dream InStead. Written, performed, recorded and engineered entirely by Runciman, the record emerged from a period of major change, isolation and restless creativity, with much of it made on her bed surrounded by old drum machines and a battered Casio.

Eartheater, the alias of experimental composer, singer and producer Alexandra Drewchin, recently released her album Heavenly Body: If I’m The Bottle You’re The Message. Written shortly after the birth of her daughter Nova and produced with David Sitek, the record explores pregnancy, motherhood and transformation through a mix of intimate details and larger, mythological ideas. “It is very much born from the throws and blisses of becoming a mother.

Rare DM has never really felt like just a music project. For Erin Hoagg, songs, clothes, movement, synthesizers, cinema and whatever strange image is currently stuck in her head all seem to feed into the same universe. It’s a world of analog electronics, immaculate suits, late-night romanticism and just enough darkness around the edges, somewhere between pop star fantasy and art-school fever dream. With Attention, her second album, that world feels bigger, sharper and more self-assured than ever.

Purple Pilgrims are sisters Clementine and Valentine Nixon, a New Zealand duo whose music moves between dream pop, folk, noise and more atmospheric forms. Raised between Christchurch and Hong Kong, they first released music as Purple Pilgrims in 2011, before putting out Eternal Delight in 2016 and Perfumed Earth in 2019. In 2023, they temporarily switched to their birth names, Clementine Valentine, for The Coin That Broke The Fountain Floor, which they recorded in New York with Randall Dunn.
