While perched the Long-crested Eagle has a uniform glossy dark brown almost black colouration and the long floppy feathers on its crest are easy to see.
Hillcrest High School to celebrate 50th Anniversary with fun day
Joshua Yuill, Class of 2025 and Minenhle Ngubane, Class of 2016. Ngubane is one of the many HHS Past Pupils who now teaches at the school and is also the Head of Rugby. Yuill works as a part-time rugby coach at the school. HILLCREST High School (HHS) will celebrate 50 years of providing excellence in education to the Upper Highway community with a Reunion Fun Day on August 1. It is set to be a day to reconnect with old friends and have fun with family. Gates open at 08:00 and the day is open to all.
Cops crack false cases scheme for selling taxis
Pinetown SAPS investigator Constable Siphiwo Leonard Cele. INVESTIGATORS at the Pinetown Police Station cracked a scheme in which false cases of carjacking and theft of a motor vehicle were opened, while the alleged aim was to sell off the taxis which had been reported as stolen. This has resulted in the arrest of two suspects on two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, and defeating the ends of justice. The investigator, Constable Siphiwo Leonard Cele, said a third suspect is wanted by the police.

IN celebration of Nelson Mandela Day, the hospital manager and management committee from Life The Crompton Hospital dedicated their time to serving the community through an outreach initiative at St Vincent Children’s Home in Mariannhill. Inspired by Mandela’s call to make a difference through service, the team came together to prepare 100 lunch packs for the children.
