SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (Jan. 21, 2025) - HNTB has announced Matthew Hearn, associate vice president, as its Northern New England office leader. Hearn joined the firm in 2019 and most recently served as office operations manager for HNTB's Capital Region offices comprising Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland and West Virginia.

The I-43 North-South Freeway is one of Wisconsin's busiest corridors and serves as a vital interstate link, connecting southeastern Wisconsin to the rest of the state. Future projections show that by 2045, traffic is expected to increase by 9,700 vehicles per day to the north end of I-43 and by 15,000 vehicles per day to the south end of I-43. Covering a 14-mile stretch, the updated I-43 North-South Freeway will meet existing and projected traffic volumes.

The I-35 Capital Express Central Project aims to enhance connectivity and improve mobility within and through downtown Austin. Carrying almost 200,000 vehicle trips daily, the corridor currently creates a significant divide between the business district of Central/West Austin and communities to the east. The project is part of Our Future 35, a community-centered initiative to reconnect East and West Austin and co-create public spaces along the I-35 corridor.

DALLAS (Oct. 28, 2024) - Kara Lentz, PE, CCM, LEED AP, has been named HNTB Corporation 's national construction services practice leader. Based in HNTB's Dallas office, Lentz leads the firm's construction services practice and supports clients and teams nationwide. Lentz has been with HNTB since 2016 and has more than 25 years of professional experience in program, project and construction management of airport, transportation and building projects.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 22, 2024) - HNTB has announced Tom Hutchinson, vice president, as its Tennessee office leader. Hutchinson has been with the firm for nearly 17 years and most recently served as office sales director and project director for the Atlanta office. As office leader, Hutchinson will be responsible for managing HNTB's operations in Tennessee, including overseeing project delivery, client relations, business development and employee development.
