A tractor can make planting food plots faster and easier, but it isn’t a requirement for growing something deer will use. Plenty of hunters don’t own tractors. Others hunt leased or permission ground where bringing in large equipment isn’t practical. Even landowners with tractors often have small openings, tucked-away corners and hard-to-reach spots where getting a tractor and full-size implements into the plot would cause more trouble than it’s worth.
