Interview: NextDC Sees AI Inference Reshaping Asia’s Colocation Market
At DCD Connect APAC in Bali, datacenterHawk’s Donny Gunnady speaks with Luke McKinnon, SVP and Managing Director Asia at NextDC, about how AI inference demand is reshaping data center strategy across the region. McKinnon explains why neo cloud providers are increasingly seeking smaller, fast-deployment capacity blocks of 2.5MW to 20MW, often within just three months - demand that large build-to-suit operators may not prioritize. That creates an opening for colocation providers such as NextDC.
