The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Analysys Mason Limited (Analysys Mason) to be the provider for the Geographic Names Panel and Reserved Names Panel in the New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program: 2026 Round. The Geographic Names Panel evaluates if each applied-for gTLD string represents an eligible geographic name based on criteria set forth in the Applicant Guidebook (AGB).

Le programme comporte dix sessions destinées à préparer la communauté de l’ICANN à l’ICANN87, la réunion générale annuelle de l’ICANN qui se tiendra du 17 au 22 octobre 2026 à Bali (Indonésie). La semaine de préparation à l’ICANN87 aura lieu du lundi 5 octobre au mercredi 7 octobre 2026.

La Société pour l’attribution des noms de domaines et des numéros sur Internet (ICANN) a lancé un appel à candidatures pour son Programme NextGen@ICANN afin de participer au Forum de la communauté ICANN88 qui se tiendra à Lisbonne (Portugal), du 13 au 18 mars 2027. L’ICANN souhaite accueillir des étudiants universitaires vivant et étudiant dans la région européenne qui s’intéressent à l’avenir de l’Internet et qui souhaitent participer à la réunion publique de l’ICANN.
