Нижче ми наводимо інформацію, яка допоможе роз’яснити, як зареєструвати звернення в Міжнародному Комітеті Червоного Хреста (МКЧХ) щодо зникнення близької людини та що відбувається після цього.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization established in 1863 whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situation of violence and to provide them with assistance. The ICRC also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.

For many persons with disabilities, each measure depends on a wider chain: support persons, assistive devices, accessible communication, transport, medication, electricity, rehabilitation and local services.

The visits to and follow-up of persons arrested and detained in connection with the conflict are at the heart of the ICRC’s mandate. This is an activity that the ICRC has been conducting for more than a hundred years. This is because in conflict situations detainees, whoever they may be and regardless of the reasons for their detention – are often at risk. In Somalia, the ICRC visits places of detention with the agreement of the relevant detaining authorities and in accordance with its procedures.

Ladies and gentlemen, Colleagues and friends, It’s a great honour for me to speak today alongside Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland, the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), the World Health Organization and the Canton of Geneva, on World Humanitarian Day 2026. We were proud of the unanimous adoption of UN Security Council resolution 2286 ten years ago. The resolution contained a historic commitment to protect health-care facilities and providers in times of armed conflict.

Mesdames et Messieurs, Chers collègues, Chers amis, C’est un immense honneur pour moi de prendre la parole aujourd’hui, aux côtés de Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse, des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, de l’Organisation mondiale de la Santé et du canton de Genève, à l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de l’aide humanitaire 2026. Il y a dix ans, nous étions fiers de l’adoption à l’unanimité de la résolution 2286 du Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies.
