Since 1995, traded emissions have grown faster than global emissions themselves, reflecting the increasing proliferation of global supply chains.

This year’s edition of the Forum will be held under the slogan “The Architecture of the New Order – Stability in Times of Change.” The Forum’s programme will focus on this issue and will cover eight main thematic areas: Digitalisation Forum, Health Care Forum, Regions Forum, Economy, International Politics, Security, Society and Sustainable Development.

Climate impacts are intensifying, geopolitical tensions are reshaping global markets and supply chains, and pressures on natural resources and social and economic systems are growing.

This is the final conference of the project “Beyond the smoke: Building support for clean heating measures in Europe”. The event will include presentations of key findings from work conducted across several European cities and will facilitate knowledge-sharing and dialogue among EU stakeholders, city representatives, and civil society actor on remaining gaps, scalable solutions and best practices to improve air quality and decarbonisation.

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be spending my days discussing electricity grids, air quality policy, and following policy debates at EU institutions, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
